Dr. Rauchman was born in Los Angeles California and has been married to his wife, Paula, for over 20 years and is the father of three teenage girls.
He completed his undergraduate work at U.C Berkeley, Phi Beta Kappa.
Dr. Rauchman completed medical school at U.C. San Francisco and received the University’s highest academic award, the Regent’s Scholar.
He completed his internship at USC and completed his ophthalmology training at Boston University.
